SURPRISINGLY AMAZING!

This Lip balm is the best!
In the tube it is hard but as soon as you rub it onto your lips the balm glides on and leaves your lips deeply moisturised and hydrated! I found it didn’t go grainy after wearing for a long time which was surprising and amazing, as I find a quite common affect with other vegan lip balms!

Consistent across climates

So impressed with this lip balm that has held its consistency in cold weather and northern tropics. Super protective and doesn’t wear off quickly. Love the packaging too!

Beautiful balm!

I love this lip balm! It feels beautiful on, nourishing without being heavy, my lips are smooth and I don't need to apply as much as other balms. It is a little hard in cooler weather, but I just hold it for a minute or so in my hand to soften slightly before I use it. Will definitely buy again!

Perfect Recipe

This is my second review of the same product after the lovely people at Elia sent me a replacement Recover Lip Balm. This time the balance is perfect and the balm is silky smooth and not too hard, not too soft, but just right! It lasts a long time on the lips so I’m not reapplying all day. Thank you for taking my feedback so seriously and for the perfect recipe!

Works Well But Has Flaws

I’m always looking for vegan and cruelty free products, locally made and handmade is even better. I believe this lip balm does work well, but it also does have flaws. It’s very hard and is grainy, which makes it hard to apply. The “grains” end up on my lips and I’m left picking them off. I LOVE the packaging. I want to love the lip balm! I understand that being handmade using natural products means that we probably have to put up with flaws like these. I would buy again to support locally made vegan products.

We agree that sometimes the lip balm can have a bit of texture and this is due to the makeup of the fatty acids in the mango butter. When the heating and cooling down balance is not quite right (a very fine balance), the acids can attract to each other and form small lumps. The lip balm is still fine to use, it's just the texture that has changed. However it sounds like yours was an unacceptable texture which is not the norm.
